BBC Proms 2020: Last Night of the Proms will air at 8pm on BBC One this evening.
What music will be played on tonight's show?
BBC Symphony Orchestra guest conductor Dalia Stasevska will oversee the evening’s performances, including excerpts from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and a new piece from Andrea Tarrodi.
Rising star Golda Schultz and Proms regular Nicola Benedetti will perform as soloists.
The usual Last Night favourites such as Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem will be performed.
Why is this the first year in history with no flag waving?
This screening of the Last Night from the Royal Albert Hall will feature no flag-waving audience for the first time in its history.
Due to current COVID-19 government guidelines, the show will go out to viewers at home.
While the season still ran for eight weeks there were fewer live events and more archive broadcasts.
