He eventually got a job in a salon as a hairdresser and he moved into a flat with Melissa's son.

Melissa had a son from a previous relationship who was 14 years old at the time of her disappearance.
Anthony now takes care of Melissa's son, despite his biological father living in Sydney.

What has Anthony Koletti said about Melissa Caddick's disappearance?
Melissa Caddick disappeared in the early hours on November 12, 2020.
Hours before her disappearance, her house was raided by the Australian Federal Police.
They were acting on behalf of the corporate regulator, ASIC, due to a $23 million Ponzi scheme Melissa had been running since 2012.
It appeared that most of her victims had been family and friends.
When the extent of Melissa's crimes came to light during the trial, Anthony was forced to face the fact that he had been duped by his wife.
He maintained the belief that his wife died "As a direct result of ASIC’s negligence, cruelty and inhumanity."
He had hoped that she was still alive until her severed foot was washed on shore on a remote beach in February 2021.
He said that the name calling was easier to take but knowing his wife was the hardest part.

Speaking on the low possibility of knowing what happened to her he said not knowing was a blessing in disguise.
He said: "Do I feel like I'll ever get answers? No, I don't."
