One of the female Brooklyn prison inmates who helped convict a federal corrections lieutenant of sex assault and rape — thanks to his distinctive penis — is now suing the US government for failing to protect her from the predator while she was in custody.
The woman, who goes by the initials “A.P.” in the Brooklyn federal lawsuit, says two disgraced Boldest, Eugenio Perez and Carlos Martinez, targeted her specifically because she didn’t speak English, had no visitors and was headed for deportation following her release from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
The suit says Martinez raped her about 10 times between 2015 and 2016 and that Perez attempted to force her to perform oral sex on him in exchange for chicken wings. He also told her his nickname was “horse” while unzipping his pants and pulling out his alleged 12-inch member, the suit says.
Both men were convicted following trial in Brooklyn.
The woman claims the government and other officials at the MDC were aware of “the long history of prison officials at MDC Brooklyn sexually assaulting female inmates,” in addition to at least one other allegation against Martinez.
The US Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment.
