Daniels | New York Daily News<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cBarbie\u201d and \u201cFast X,\u201d two of the summer\u2019s biggest blockbusters, will be available outside of movie theaters next month.<\/p>\n On Sept. 5, the day after Labor Day, fans of Greta Gerwig\u2019s box office smash will get to see it in the comfort of their own homes.<\/p>\n The\u00a0star-studded \u201cBarbie,\u201d which has grossed over one billion dollars globally since its July 21 release, will be available on paid video on demand platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV and\u00a0Vudu\u00a0for $24.99.<\/p>\n Each digital streamer is taking preorders but their launch dates haven\u2019t been listed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Vin Diesel-led \u201cFast X\u201d \u2014 arguably the antithesis of the pink-hued, female-centric movie \u2014 will begin\u00a0streaming on Peacock\u00a0on Sept. 15.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said in the company\u2019s Q2 earnings call that \u201cBarbie\u201d would premiere on the Max streaming service by the fall.<\/p>\n Deadline\u2019s Anthony D\u2019Alessandro\u00a0estimates\u00a0a late October launch on the streamer formerly known as HBO Max.<\/p>\n Produced by and starring Margot Robbie, \u201cBarbie\u201d has become Warner Bros.\u00a0highest-grossing domestic film, raking in over $537.5 million at the U.S. box office.<\/p>\n The Oscar-winning \u201cBatman Begins\u201d sequel\u00a0\u201cThe Dark Knight,\u201d\u00a0which was released in 2008, previously held the title with a $536 million take.<\/p>\n \u201cBarbie\u201d surpassed 2019\u2032s \u201cCaptain Marvel,\u201d which brought in $153 million, as the\u00a0highest-grossing film\u00a0directed by a woman.<\/p>\n
