When Trojanova’s flight to Mexico was ‘horrendously delayed’ for 10 hours last week, she took the opportunity to share a ‘little lesson on airport sleeping’

The content creator explained that your ‘outfit is really important,’ saying she had on layers and took a blanket from her previous flight

Trojanova recommended ‘sleeping near other people because there’s safety in numbers’ and panned the camera to show there were a few travelers close by

‘Let me show you how to sleep at the airport because I’m about to do it myself,’ she said. ‘Ideally, I would have gone through security already, but that just wasn’t possible because of the timing.’

The traveler noted in the on-screen text that the airside of the airport typically has more seating, lounges, and food, ‘but you can’t get in late at night.’

Trojanova deduced that spending the night in the pre-security area was her ‘second best scenario’ while waiting for her flight.

She first suggested checking out the free website sleepinginairports.net, which has ‘loads of information’ and ‘reviews by real people.’

‘This is not sponsored, but I use it myself,’ she explained.

Trojanova then showed that she was bundled up in comfortable layers, saying your ‘outfit is really important’ when you’re spending hours at the airport.

‘I’m not proud of this, but I did also take this blanket from my flight because it’s the airline’s fault that I’m stuck here for 10 hours,’ she admitted.

She recommended ‘sleeping near other people because there’s safety in numbers’ and panned the camera to show there were a few travelers close by.

airport sleeping ✈️ I’m currently on my way to Mexico for two weeks (yay!) and my flight’s been horrendously delayed… so here’s a little lesson on airport sleeping – all my best tips on how to actually get some rest if you’re forced to spend the night waiting for your flight 😴 have you ever slept at the airport? what are your best tips? #airportsleep #airportsleeptips #airporttips #airportlife

Trojanova noted that the airport chairs were ‘not ideal because of the armrests,’ but she was able to sleep across them lying face down

Trojanova cleverly tied the wire from her earbuds to her luggage and wrist to ensure no one stole her belongings while she was sleeping

Before she fell asleep, Trojanova cleverly tied the wire from her earbuds to her luggage and wrist to ensure no one stole her belongings.

‘It’s really, really important that you secure your luggage as you’re sleeping because otherwise someone could just come along and take it.
