A woman has shared her inspiring\u00a0rescue story\u00a0after saving an abandoned pitbull from the dumping found where it was left to fend for itself.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0rescue efforts\u00a0were captured in a clip shared with\u00a0the Dodo\u00a0that shows the dog roaming the derelict area before being coaxed to safety.<\/p>\n
Judy, the woman who spotted the\u00a0lonesome pup\u00a0while passing through a renowned hot stop for abandoned animals, claims that she waited 45 minutes to see if anyone in the vicinity would come for the dog.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
She told the Dodo: \u201cHarley was rescued from a bad area where sadly dogs are abandoned.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s an area part of my routine searches, and it\u2019s just something that I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever stop so I can continue to save dogs like Harley.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo that when I put her in the back of the truck. And the next thing I know she\u2019s snoring. She fell asleep.\u201d<\/p>\n
A subsequent clip filmed just months after the rescue, showed the dog looking visibly happier as she ran around the snow at her new home.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo see her running in that snow, the first thought that came to mind is that she was not running from somebody who was trying to hurt her,” noted the rescuer.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe went to one adoption event and after that, we were contacted that they were interested in adopting her.\u201d<\/p>\n
Judy continued: \u201cIt\u2019s beyond amazing to see her so happy and she\u2019s gonna continue to thrive in her forever home.\u201d<\/p>\n
