As we first reported, his assistant called 911 around 4 PM after finding the actor unresponsive in his hot tub.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/imagez.tmz.com\/image\/75\/16by9\/2023\/10\/29\/75ffc9eb1715419dac2149d57fbbb7ff_md.jpg\"            loading=\"lazy\"          ><\/p>\n<p>As we first reported &#8230; LAPD&#8217;s Robbery Homicide Division <strong>is investigating the death<\/strong>, not because foul play is suspected, but because it&#8217;s such a high-profile case.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/imagez.tmz.com\/image\/9a\/16by9\/2023\/10\/31\/9ac7f643a6074ad7ad721ea941dd3eba_md.jpg\"            loading=\"lazy\"          ><\/p>\n<p>People close to Matthew have told us &#8220;<strong>he was never happier<\/strong>&#8221;
