Former Home and Away<\/em> star Johnny Ruffo has died at the age of 35 after a long battle with brain cancer.<\/p>\n
The Australian singer and actor\u2019s death was confirmed via a statement, which was posted to his Instagram account.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that today we had to farewell our beloved Johnny,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe all love you Johnny and will remember you for all the joy you brought to our lives.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
Ruffo, who was also a contestant on the X Factor<\/em>, was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017, and again in 2020.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe battled all the way to the end and fought as hard as he could,\u201d the post stated. \u201cSuch a beautiful soul with so much more to give.\u201d<\/p>\n
