DEAR DEIDRE: IT was only when a recruiter called my husband while I was with him that I found out he\u2019d been applying for new jobs without telling me.<\/p>\n
I feel angry and upset that he thinks it\u2019s OK not to inform me when this will affect me too. I wonder what else he\u2019s keeping from me.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m 32, he\u2019s 33 and we\u2019ve been married for two years. I don\u2019t have a problem with him getting a new job. The one he\u2019s in doesn\u2019t pay that well and he\u2019s miserable. But at least it\u2019s secure.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m worried that if he leaves for a new role, it will affect our chances of getting a mortgage for a new flat. Most of all, I feel hurt that he\u2019s keeping his job hunt a secret from me.<\/p>\n
The recruiter who called had clearly interviewed him. If I hadn\u2019t been with him, I\u2019d never have known.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Am I overreacting, like he says? Should he have told me? I tell him everything and now worry I can\u2019t trust him.<\/p>\n
