Claudia Winkleman discusses her eyesight with Elizabeth Day<\/h3>\n

Claudia Winkleman has opened up about previously going under the knife to correct her sight.<\/p>\n

The Traitors host recently revealed that she has had a \u201ccouple of operations\u201d due to being born with \u201cterrible eyesight\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Elizabeth Day\u2019s longstanding How To Fail podcast on November 1, Claudia, 51, revealed why she likes life to be \u201cblurry\u201d.<\/p>\n

She began by telling the 45-year-old host: \u201cI\u2019ve always had terrible eyesight. Which is going back to the blurriness of the paintings I like and the blurriness of how I really like life to be.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhich is no overhead lights – the 17th century is where I would have absolutely smashed it,\u201d the Strictly Come Dancing presenter joked.<\/p>\n

Discussing her life-long vision impairment, Claudia revealed: \u201cI was born with -15 so I\u2019ve never really been able to see my face. It\u2019s all guesswork.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Elizabeth questioned whether the star often needed to wear \u201cheavy-duty contact lenses\u201d.<\/p>\n

The mother-of-three revealed she had undergone a \u201ccouple of operations\u201d.<\/p>\n

She admitted: \u201cI was just banging into walls but now I wear lenses or glasses or whatever.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I can\u2019t – everything is \u2018ish\u2019. It\u2019s just a vague idea which is how I like to live.\u201d<\/p>\n
