It's no secret many Brits would be financially struggling as a result of the crippling cost of living crisis. But thanks to Martin Lewis, there's many savvy hacks to help you out. <\/p>\n

The MoneySavingExpert founder claimed there's a setting on your boiler which could help you save \u00a365 a year on your finances. The "flow temperature" of the combi boiler is often set between 70C and 80C. <\/p>\n

You should be able to lower yours to 60C which could potentially knock some quids off yours bills. In an article on MSE, Martin's team shared the handy hack.<\/p>\n

The Money Saving Boiler Challenge is an initiative by charity Nesta which featured on Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert website.<\/p>\n

In an article, the team wrote: "To be clear, this is different from turning down your main heating thermostat or the valves on your radiators \u2013 it won't lower the temperature of your home.<\/p>\n

"Your radiators will just feel slightly cooler and rooms may take a little longer to warm up, but they will still heat your home effectively."<\/p>\n

It comes as Ofgem confirmed its price cap is increasing from \u00a31,834 a year to \u00a31,928 for a typical dual fuel household paying by direct debit. The new price cap will cover from January 1 until March 31.<\/p>\n
