Next year, Simple Minds will prove just how Alive and Kicking they are. The epic band have just announced a spectacularly enormous new tour kicking off in the UK next year.
And the Glittering Prize of it all is that they’re playing the country’s biggest venues; London’s O2 Arena, Manchester’s AO Arena, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro – and many more.
After selling 60 million albums worldwide, and playing to hundreds of thousands of people over the past few years, they’re following up their 40 Years Of Hits Tour with the UK and Ireland legs of their Global Tour 2024, beginning in March.
Even more exciting is that the Scottish band will be supported across their tour by their Glaswegian kinsmen Del Amitri, as well.
Simple Minds’ singer, Jim Kerr, said of the tour: “[Concerts] are where we and our audience come alive and energised through music. Four decades on from when we first set out, this global tour will demonstrate that Simple Minds are still alive and kicking!”

When do Simple Minds presale tickets come out?
Simple Minds are releasing a small number of presale tickets at some select venues throughout the week.
The first batch will be released on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 9am and come directly from O2 Priority and Three. Both of these presale events are only available to subscribers of the O2 and Three mobile phone networks. Once they’re signed up, they can access their exclusive presale links and codes, before grabbing their tickets right here.
The second presale event comes directly from Gigs in Scotland, and begins on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 9am. These tickets are available to those who have signed up to the Gigs In Scotland website here. After that, fans should be able to gain access to presale tickets by using this link.

When do Simple Minds tickets come out?
Simple Minds UK tour tickets come out Friday, September 8, 2023, at 9am.
This will be fans’ last chance to buy tickets for the expansive tour kicking off on March 15, 2024 – and there are some options in where to buy tickets.
