Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach has been issued a stern warning over a potential “romance” with dance partner Vito Coppola.
The former Coronation Street star and dancer are setting the dance floor on fire in the new series of the glitzy BBC One show. So much so, that they have marked themselves as strong contenders to bag this year's Glitterball trophy.
However, rumours have been circulating for a while that the pair are an item thanks to their sizzling chemistry. Last week an insider exclusively told Daily Star that their relationship is "bigger than what the camera captures".

Former star Amanda Abbington then seemingly confirmed that Ellie and Vito were in fact a couple via a social media comment. And then this week, the pair fuelled romance rumours when Vito affectionately called Ellie "my baby".
Now, ahead of their next dance on Saturday night (November 11) the pair have been issued a warning over their alleged relationship. Speaking exclusively to Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo, the expert claimed the smitten pair’s “romance” could “either help or hinder their progression in the competition".
The expert said: “From their own supportive posts to one another to former Strictly co-star Amanda Abbington calling the pair a 'beautiful couple' it seems pretty certain that Ellie and Vito have found romance through the competition.” However, Dom noted that with a new romance comes a “new set of challenges".
He explained: “While fans on social media seem overwhelmingly supportive and excited about this development, mixing the world of dance with romance comes with a new set of challenges. Strictly couples spend hours each day training with one another and any change in dynamic will affect the partnership's daily routine and could either help or hinder their progression in the competition.”
Dom then recalled how past contestants who found love on the show have gone on to do well in the competition. He referenced 2018 winners Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton who are now parents.

“However, it requires extra effort to ensure the lines of mentorship and companionship are not completely blurred,” Dom said. He then added how Ellie “has the potential” to be crowned champ.
But as for Vito, the Dom said: “As a Strictly professional, Vito will need to ensure he continues to help Ellie progress as a dancer and not get distracted by their suspected romantic connection.”
