Bruce Willis and daughter Scout hold hands
Bruce Willis’ co-star De’voreaux White has remembered a heartwarming last meeting with the Die Hard lead.
The actor portrayed limo driver Argyle in the hit action blockbuster, and recently had a touching reunion with the Hollywood star.
It came just two years before Bruce’s family announced he had been diagnosed with aphasia and was stepping away from acting in March 2022.
Years after starring together in the 1988 Christmas classic, they reunited to film a commercial for Advance Auto Parts’ DieHard car batteries.
De’voreaux said their meeting was just like old times as they hugged and laughed with each other.

“So, I’m standing on the set and I’m talking to like wardrobe and this person taps me and he goes ‘Argyle?’ and I turned around, and it was Bruce,” he remembered.
“And I said, ‘Where the f**k have you been? I could have been dead by now!’”
Bruce and De’voreaux had, unfortunately, not remained close friends in the years since working together on Die Hard.
However, their reunion clearly brought back a lot of good memories for the iconic pair.

“We both looked at each other,” De’voreaux told DailyMail.com. “And then he just put his hand over his mouth, and he bit down.
“Oh, I just started laughing. And we hugged and everything. And that’s what occurred. The experience was awesome. Oh, it was awesome.”
Although they hadn’t kept in touch regularly, De’voreaux confirmed Bruce would “check in” every now and then, and his publicists would confirm everything was good.
When asked what he’d like to say to Bruce directly, the actor said: “I would say, not only are you a man of integrity, you are a man that has carried depth and weight in my life, and I am so very appreciative to you.

“I’m honored to have had the pleasure of meeting you and working with you and having a relationship with you on so many levels. And now, I’m crying.”
In February this year, Bruce’s family confirmed his aphasia had progressed to frontotemporal dementia.
He is no longer acting and his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and daughters Rumer, Tallulah and Scout are reportedly ‘soaking up every last minute’ with the star over the Christmas holiday.
Die Hard is available to stream on Disney+.
