The pop titan gave relatives of Ana Clara Benevides Machado a VIP tent to watch the final Brazilian show of her Eras tour.
She then hosted them backstage in Sao Paulo and had her photo taken with the group, which included Ana Clara’s father, Weiny Machado.
They all wore T-shirts emblazoned with a photo of the 23-year-old college student, who died of a cardiac arrest on November 17 after going to Taylor’s gig in Rio de Janeiro.
Fans raised concerns that they were banned from bringing water into the venue, where the humidity made temperatures feel like 59.3C (139F).
Ana Clara is said to have fainted and was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead after an hour of resuscitation failed. Taylor, 33, told fans she was “devastated” by the death.
