And now it so happens the Double Chocolate Pie will be dropped to make way for the new items this week.
The pudding was introduced as a temporary item back in June and it's become a fan favourite.
It combines a chocolate crust, stuffed with chocolate sauce and is a twist on the humble apple pie.
Some restaurants stopped stocking the pie in August but it officially comes off menus on Tuesday.
Fans have been left devastated by the news with many calling out for it to be made as a permanent fixture.
One said: "McDonald's got rid of the limited chocolate pie. I'm so sad it was so good."
Another added: "I am gutted the double chocolate pie has been removed from menus.
"Why did it have to be limited edition!? It's too good not to be constant in the UK!"
A third commented: "Utterly criminal that McDonald's has stopped selling the chocolate pie."

The chocolate pie is just one of the items coming off the menus as the Caesar and Bacon Wrap is leaving too.
Three other temporary additions were axed last month, including the popular Biscoff McFlurry and Spicy Sriracha Wrap.
McDonald's is bringing a new menu on Wednesday with the return of the Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon.
The much-loved menu items returning all coincide with the arrival of the McDonald's Monopoly game.
But like McDonald's Monopoly… these tasty orders won't be around for long.
Customers will be able to get their hands on the tasty new line-up from 11am on Wednesday.
