“Barbie” and “Fast X,” two of the summer’s biggest blockbusters, will be available outside of movie theaters next month.
On Sept. 5, the day after Labor Day, fans of Greta Gerwig’s box office smash will get to see it in the comfort of their own homes.
The star-studded “Barbie,” which has grossed over one billion dollars globally since its July 21 release, will be available on paid video on demand platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV and Vudu for $24.99.
Each digital streamer is taking preorders but their launch dates haven’t been listed.
Meanwhile, the Vin Diesel-led “Fast X” — arguably the antithesis of the pink-hued, female-centric movie — will begin streaming on Peacock on Sept. 15.
Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said in the company’s Q2 earnings call that “Barbie” would premiere on the Max streaming service by the fall.
Deadline’s Anthony D’Alessandro estimates a late October launch on the streamer formerly known as HBO Max.
Produced by and starring Margot Robbie, “Barbie” has become Warner Bros. highest-grossing domestic film, raking in over $537.5 million at the U.S. box office.
The Oscar-winning “Batman Begins” sequel “The Dark Knight,” which was released in 2008, previously held the title with a $536 million take.
“Barbie” surpassed 2019′s “Captain Marvel,” which brought in $153 million, as the highest-grossing film directed by a woman.
