Vladimir Putin’s doctors have allegedly warned “a miracle will not happen and are preparing loved ones for the worst outcome” with a Telegram channel claiming his health “deteriorated somewhat” over recent hours.
The 71-year-old reportedly fell ill on Sunday following a “cardiac arrest” at his private home in Moscow, according to General SVR – a Telegram channel claiming to have Kremlin insiders.
Russia’s president allegedly had to be “resuscitated” before being moved to the intensive care unit in his official residence,
Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov furiously dismissed the claims while also branding reports Putin has been using a body double to stand in for him as an “absurd hoax”.
But now the Kremlin source behind the Telegram channel has alleged the doctors treating the real Russian president are predicting a grim outcome, according to The Daily Star.
The insider reportedly said on Wednesday: “Over the past 24 hours, Vladimir Putin’s condition has not changed and remains stable and serious.
“The attending doctors say that a miracle will not happen and are preparing loved ones for the worst outcome.”
But this morning, the same source claimed the 471-year-old’s health condition had actually worsened over the previous 24 hours.
They said: “Russian President Vladimir Putin’s health condition has deteriorated somewhat over the past 24 hours.

Dr Naheed Ali warned if the rumours around Putin’s deteriorating health are to be believed, then the future could be grim for the Russian leader.
He told the Daily Star: “A person in their early 70s with these health challenges might face a higher risk of complications, possibly leading to a much shorter life expectancy compared to others of the same age without concerns.
“Given Vladimir Putin’s reported episode, if authentic, the severity cannot be underscored enough. A cardiac arrest isn’t a fleeting chest pain – it’s the heart’s desperate cry for immediate medical intervention.”
