A woman has begged Ryanair to change her name on a flight booking after discovering that her husband was having an affair.
Karlie Brodie wrote to the airline on X, formerly Twitter, and asked it to replace her name in the flight details to that of her husband’s mistress.
She wrote: ‘Hi I booked flights for myself and my husband to go away I’ve just found out he’s having an affair!
‘Can you refund the flights or at least change my name to his bit on the side as she’s welcome to him!’
The tweet – which was published on Wednesday afternoon – has gone viral and has been viewed by more than four million users.

Ryanair replied: ‘Emotional baggage costs extra, Karlie.’

Hundreds of people responded, with some telling Ryanair to refund her.
