As the autumn weather begins to set in here in the UK, EastEnders star Danny Walters has escaped the doom and gloom to enjoy a sun soaked getaway in Greece.
Joined by his girlfriend, former Shipmates star Maddi Faircloth, the loved up couple waved goodbye to torrential downpours and chilly temperatures to soak in the sights and sounds of the Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa in Rhodes.
Taking to social media to document their holiday, the couple delighted fans with an inside look at everything they had seen during the trip, which included everything from mouth-watering meals to dreamy cloudless skies!
The journey first kicked off at the airport with a flight to the Mediterranean nation, before Danny and Maddi were personally collected by a driver to take them to the luxury resort.
In a video clip shared online, the couple then revealed a glimpse of their journey, which took place in a golf cart as they moved through the picturesque surroundings of the resort, which boasted plenty of crisp clean marble flooring and pale pastel toned stonework.
Danny then showcased more of the room he and Maddi would be staying in, which revealed a large King size bed adorned in white and duck egg blue bedding, before a French door opened out into a giant swimming pool complete with sun terrace to make the most of the sunshine.
Interestingly, upon arrival, Danny and Maddi were also treated to a special welcome gift, which included a bottle of chilled wine and an assortment of canapes and sweet treats.
Keen to unwind and make the most of every second of the trip, Danny wasted no time before trying the pool for himself, with the Keanu Taylor actor delighting fans with a slew of photos from the poolside.
Not one to be left out, Maddi was soon quick to join him, with a further video clip revealing the blonde unwinding in the pool herself.
After spending some time in the sun, the party didn’t stop once night fell, with the smitten duo changing into a chic pair of outfits to enjoy a romantic dinner together.
Sharing a glimpse of their delicious meal for the evening, the couple even shared a toast together before posing for one sweet selfie at the end of the dinner.
The latest holiday comes ahead of an exciting time for Danny, as his EastEnders character Keanu Taylor could be killed off this Christmas as part of the exciting whodunnit flash forward plot that has been playing out all year.
Keanu and his on screen wife Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) split earlier this year after she betrayed him by letting Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin) take his daughter, Peggy, back to Spain with her even though he begged her to stay.
Since then he has been a thorn in Sharon’s side, as he recently threatened to ruin Phil Mitchell’s wedding to Kat Slater, by blurting out details of Phil’s infidelity.
Talked down from doing so by Sharon, who threatened to limit his access to their child Albie if he blabbed, could tension between the pair continue to boil over to a fatal altercation?
