Teenage killer clown gangs with ‘huge sharp teeth’ are terrorising village

Police are probing a gang of teens terrorising a village dressed as killer clowns with "huge sharp teeth" from Netflix horror smash The Curse of Bridge Hollow.

Locals have complained the mob has been knocking on doors late at night wearing the garb which featured in the comedy chiller which shows a town under siege when Halloween decorations come to life. The real life clowns have been spotted loitering outside homes peering inside.

Mum-of-four Claire Gilmore, 41, said her children were left terrified after spotting one of the gang putting on the mask – which includes a red wig and giant teeth – outside a Co-op in Ash, near Dover, Kent.

"As one of them turned around he put the clown mask on," she said. "He kept running about like he was joking around. "But my little girl, who is three, was petrified as it is a scary mask. The teeth were quite scary and looked sharp,” she added." My little boy said it looked like a clown from The Curse of Bridge Hollow on Netflix.

It would be quite scary for an elderly person too.’’One witness wrote on an Ash Facebook group: "They were hanging around at the end of my drive.

"I went out to put the bin out, spoke to them and they just stared. Next door said they had knocked on their door and ran off. One had a clown mask and wig on. I am aware some people out at night are not always just having an evening walk.”

Another user said: "It is such a shame that in a nice quiet village that sort of thing happens. There seems to be a lot more lairy teens around lately.”

A Kent police spokesman said the force was notified at 11.45pm on Tuesday of two young people wearing clown masks in Queen’s Road, Ash.

"Local officers have been made aware," he added.
